About the project

This particular project was about building a marketing piece for MLT's donor, a modern social media tool. The goal was to create a strong first impression with a fast, clear, and trustworthy web experience. The site needed to convey reliability while also embracing a friendly tech aesthetic.

Project Details

MLT wanted to create an Impact Report to support and promote their 20th anniversary celebration of driving economic mobility for disadvantaged college students and professionals. The report needed to reflect their new visual identity and emphasize the breadth of their impact on individuals, communities, and workplaces. The design process centered around bold pops of color and image-centered layouts. I structured the document so that MLT's iconic arrows (in their logo) echo throughout the pages via a colored border that runs across the top and right side of each page.

“She goes above and beyond, offering creative direction and strategic "out of the box" thinking to every project. She also understands how to manage, control and mindfully implement brand guidelines.”

What I Did

  1. I designed a 25-page digital document via InDesign and Photoshop.

  2. I developed a typography system to ensure consistency of headers, subheaders, and body copy.

  3. I collaborated with a copywriter, and team members from several other departments to ensure that sections of the report were communicated in the most clear and visually impactful way.

  4. I curated 90% of the images presented in the report and embedded a digital version of the document onto the client's website.
